What is coaching?

A coach (or “Behavioral Consultant”) is trained to help you create and implement sustainable changes to improve your life.

Our coaches regularly consult with clinicians to remain actively informed in the field of mental health. We believe this is an important piece in preparing our coaches to more effectively stay within the boundaries of coaching and identify when clients may be better served by a clinician.

What is coaching intended to do?

  • Identify clear, obtainable goals and the steps necessary to achieve them.

  • Identify patterns of thought and behavior that are interfering with the achievement of those goals.

  • Assist in creating and implementing plans and systems to address interference and achieve goals.

  • Monitor progress and maintain accountability, help troubleshoot obstacles that may arise and adjust as needed.
